We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized Parts Clerk to support our growing operations.
Position Summary
The Parts Clerk will manage parts inventory, support technicians by sourcing and issuing parts, and ensure smooth and efficient parts operations within the shop. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, stock, and organize incoming parts and inventory
- Maintain accurate records of parts usage, orders, and returns
- Assist technicians and service advisors with parts requests
- Order parts from suppliers and follow up on deliveries
- Conduct inventory audits and restock as necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized parts room and counter area
- Provide excellent customer service to internal staff and occasional external clients
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a parts or warehouse role (automotive or trucking industry preferred)
- Basic understanding of truck and trailer components (training provided)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient with computers and inventory software
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's license
